Yes, I Even Printed It There
Shot glasses? Done it. Pens? Done it. Sunglasses? A bus? Swimsuits? Done it, done it, done it. Over the years, I have pretty much printed on everything I can think of. Actually, it would probably be easier to try and figure out where I haven’t.
Well, I haven’t done anything with NASA, yet. Actually, that’s not entirely true. Back in 1998, I was working with a customer who could not get labels to stay on their greasy, bumpy, sometimes wet, occasionally cold, often hot, gas cylinders. They were shipping them on open trucks around town and came to me for suggestions. So, I ended up after months of testing 20 or so label adhesives using the same adhesive that NASA uses on their tank labels on the space shuttles. There you have it ☺
Here’s another story. I have made custom carry bags, totes and backpacks for my top accounts of over 20 years. Well, one day the development department came to me and asked if I can sew items with no logos, and just make some puppets for kits they sell. One thing led to the next and now I have orders for hand puppets by the hundreds every year.
I’m still trying to figure out a way to get something done in Atlantis, once they find it. And as soon as Richard Branson opens up a theme park on Mars, he promised to call me to get some printing done. Even on short notice. I have experience on that since I’ve printed 1.5 million admission tickets back in the mid 90’s for the Kentucky Kingdom Park in Louisville. That was a pretty big rush order!
So, the gist is this – Whatever, wherever, whenever. I can get it printed. Think you can stump me? Give it a try! I may just have to give out a prize if you do. Let’s give it a go!
